Vote for a Change logo As you may be aware, Vote for a Change have joined with Take Back Parliament and others over the summer to become Yes To Fairer Votes, the nationwide campaign to secure AV in the upcoming referendum to change our voting system.

The 5th of November - Bonfire Night - marks six months before the referendum. We want to mark it with a bang!

To help us do this, we're asking people to lend us their time over the Bonfire Weekend to do one or more of the following:

- Be part of a local photo opportunity

- Spend an hour helping on a street stall near you

- Distribute campaign materials at a local municipal bonfire

Changing to the Alternative Vote system will have a profound impact on British politics. It will give ordinary voters more of a say, force politicians to work harder and to ensure that fewer of them can assume they have a job for life. The usual suspects will do everything they can to stop any kind of voting reform. We mustn't let them get away with it.

We've made a tremendous amount of progress in a short space of time and we now have dozens of local groups up and down the country. If you haven't already got involved, now is the time. Ultimately it won’t be organisations that win this referendum but individuals like you. A small amount of your time will make a big difference.
